Scout Notebook ("the App") operates under VisionFI LLC management. This document describes collection, usage, and protection practices for user information when accessing our application.
Access Requirement: The App is available exclusively to authorized users whose employers maintain current Master Services Agreements with VisionFI LLC and have provisioned VisionFI environments. Organizations lacking active MSAs and established environments cannot grant access.
By using Scout Notebook, you consent to information collection per this policy. Disagreement with these practices means you should discontinue application use.
Microsoft Azure Active Directory (Azure AD)
Authentication occurs completely within organizational Microsoft Azure AD infrastructure. VisionFI does not manage, store, or access Microsoft credentials. We receive necessary authentication tokens and basic profile information from your organization's tenant for identity verification and access provisioning.

Research Notes
Important: All uploaded documents, content, and notes are stored exclusively on VisionFI's vCloud infrastructure hosted on Google Cloud Platform. Documents are cached temporarily in your institution's isolated cloud environment during validation, then removed. No materials persist locally on personal devices.
GPS Coordinates in Photos
Important: GPS metadata is collected only when you explicitly permit location inclusion in App-taken photographs. Device location tracking does not occur outside photo capture. Location permissions can be revoked through device configuration anytime. GPS metadata serves document authenticity verification and compliance audit trail creation.

Maintenance spans, record guidance, and erasure specifications are delineated in your MSA and may differ dependent on your establishment's administrative requirements and agreement language.

The "Last Updated" designation at the document's start demonstrates the latest modification timing. Proceeding with App application subsequent to any modifications demonstrates settlement of the altered Privacy Policy.
